Farm Journals & Record Keeping Books

For recording personal thoughts, making lists, taking notes, setting goals, brainstorming, and just plain doodling, journals sure do come in handy. Here at Vintage Home and Farm, each of our family members goes through a couple journals a year, as they are so useful for a variety of purposes.

I'm pleased to share with you that Vintage Home and Farm is featured in a series of unique, soft-bound journals and record keeping books. These are among the journals our family now uses, and we are excited to share them with you.  They are all available for purchase from Amazon!

There are two different types of journals to choose from:  blank-lined journals and flock-keeping record journals. 

Blank-Lined Journals

Three of the journals are smaller sized, at 6x9 inches each, and contain blank-lined pages for writing and doodling.  Each of these is 120 pages long.

The pink chicken-themed journal contains photos of the hens, rooster, and baby chicks at Vintage Home and Farm.  Meanwhile, the blue farm-themed journal features photos from around Vintage Home and Farm, and is intended for those who love the simple pleasures of farm life: a bucolic setting with farm animals, a vintage white barn, pastures, and gardens.  Finally, the third is a yellow duck-themed journal with photos of the ducklings and grown ducks at Vintage Home and Farm.  

Interspersed throughout the pages of these journals are inspiring quotes and sayings about farm life.

Flock-Keeping Record Journals

If you are raising your own flocks of chickens or ducks, we have special record-keeping journals for you!  Keep track of egg production, revenues from eggs sold, expenses, special care (supplements and treatments given), and notes about your flock.  Larger in size (these journals are 8.5 x 11 inches), each journal contains a page for every month of the year, so you can easily capture your daily to monthly flock details. There are additional blank-lined pages for other notes as well. These journals are 120 pages long. Additionally, you can anticipate seeing newly updated versions printed for each calendar year!

Chicken Keeping Journal for 2022

The Chicken Keeping Journal for 2022 contains photos of the hens, rooster, and baby chicks at Vintage Home and Farm. In addition to the record-keeping pages for tracking your eggs and costs, there are  blank-lined pages and inspiring quotes and sayings related to chickens throughout.

Duck Keeping Journal for 2022

The Duck Keeping Journal for 2022 contains photos of the ducklings and full-grown ducks at Vintage Home and Farm. In addition to the record-keeping pages for tracking your eggs and costs, there are blank-lined pages, photos, and inspiring quotes and sayings related to ducks throughout.
